One killed, 7 injured in Gbl accidents | KNO

Ganderbal, Jun 21 (KNO): One person was killed while seven others were injured in separate road accidents in Central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Saturday afternoon. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that during the intervening night, an accident took place near maternity hospital Watlar Ganderbal when a Pulsar bike bearing registration number JK05M-4769 while rush riding skidded off the road and fell down into irrigation canal resulting injuries to two persons and leaving a youth dead as well. The duo has been identified as Mufasil Reshi, son of Mohd Asadullah Reshie of Nilla Palpora Patten, Nasir Nabi Bhat, son of Gh Nabi Bhat of Nilla Palpora Patten. They were referred to SKIMS Soura from PHC Lar for treatment. However, 25-year-old Aadil Manzoor Shah, son of Manzoor Shah of Nilla palpora Patten died in the accident. In Margund area Kangan, a separate accident took place when a tipper bearing registration number JK05C-3133 driven by Bashir Ah Rah, son of Ghulam Ahmad of Nowgam, Srinagar collided with another tipper bearing registration number JK04H -8607 driven by Ab Hamid Ganie, son of Assadullah Ganie of Barsoo, Ganderbal, resulting in minor injuries to both drivers. In Kijpora Kangan, an Alto car bearing registration number JK15-7181 driven by one Sartaj Ahmed Khan, son of Syed Ghulam Khan of Gutlibagh collided scooty bearing registration number JK16B-8452, resulting in injuries to scooty rider namely Reyaz Ahmad Lone, son of Gh. Mohd Lone of Chattergul Kangan, who has been shifted to SDH Kangan for treatment where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for further treatment. In another accident at Check post Kijpora Kangan, a vehicle bearing registration number JK16C-0823 ridden by Reyaz Ahmad Bhat, son of Ab. Gani Bhat of Chattergul Kangan collided with another vehicle bearing registration number JK16A-2976 driven by one Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, son of Gh.Mohd Bhat of Arigoripora Kangan, resulting in injuries to both the drivers, who were taken to SDH Kangan for treatment, where from both were referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for further treatment. Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of all the road accidents—(KNO)
